May 19, 2025: This weekend, the Lucy's Love Bus team was honored to participate in the Spring Bag Assembly for The Chemo Bag Project, Inc. alongside our friends at Ducks For Cancer! We were introduced to The Chemo Bag Project through Mike Foley, founder of Ducks for Cancer, who generously supports three organizations—including ours—through his mission to bring comfort to those impacted by cancer.
We loved getting the chance to assemble over 200 care bags, each packed with a personal touch and a handwritten note to uplift and encourage adults undergoing cancer treatment. These bags will be distributed by nurses and social workers to those who need a little extra cheer at oncology centers and hospitals across New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
It was a joy to work alongside incredible volunteers, meet The Chemo Bag Project team, and spend time with Mike and his family. We’re so grateful to be part of this compassionate community.
